We aspire to be a role model for coffee growers, based on sustainable and prosperous agriculture.
This aligns with the United Nations (UN) statement in its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By demonstrating that a business can prosper while preserving biodiversity.
We are involved in the entire process: from cultivation to roasting, through distribution and points of sale, all the way to the consumer. The consumer becomes not only a lover of exceptional coffee, but also and above all a conscious actor that sustainable agriculture is no longer
simply a buzzword, but an essential and vital reality.
OUR MISSION
We are a family, a community, and two businesses. Katalina and Donald (the parents), managers of Finca Vitalidad, permanently residing in Ecuador, and Shelly and Myria (the daughters), managers of the Distribution Center, LATITUDE ZERO, permanently residing in Quebec.
Our mission is to cultivate, roast, distribute, and highlight exceptional single-origin specialty coffee without intermediaries, while actively preserving and regenerating the environment.
We grow our coffee in a protected environment in the Ecuadorian Andes, integrated into the shade of a Native Forest (Forest Garden). We nourish and regenerate our soil exclusively with 100% natural compost made on-site. This unique approach allows us to reforest and restore
the soils of this crucial region while producing exceptional specialty coffee beans.

• Respect & preservation of the ENVIRONMENT
We place environmental preservation at the heart of our actions. Through the cultivation of our coffee, we work to protect our forests, reforest them, and regenerate our soils. In doing so, we play a crucial role in maintaining wildlife, flora, and their endangered species.
• INTEGRITY from farm to cup We act with honesty and transparency in all our operations and with all our partners. Among these, we include young adults who develop income promoting their independence and studies, autonomous women, as well as elderly and/or disabled people to whom we offer goods transportation services.
• Community & planetary ENGAGEMENT
We support farmers and the community in defending threatened ecosystems. Several innovations and infrastructures are implemented in the community, partly through the work of Katalina and Donald (Shareholders), allowing access to basic resources for the economic development of the
community (bridge, access to drinking water, roads, etc.).

We believe that the ultimate quality of our coffee stems from a rich and carefully preserved environment. Each bean is the fruit of a balanced and nourished ecosystem, free of agrochemicals, guaranteeing a complex, rich, and exceptional taste experience.

We promote health and well-being in every aspect of our coffee, ensuring the tasting of a healthy product, free of agrochemicals and enriched with composting. This process also contributes to the good health of farmers, while maintaining the purity of their resources. Our agricultural model dedicates its efforts to the health and protection of the environment from which it originates.
