Social aspect

The social aspect of our community has always been at the heart of our operations. Our project was developed with the aim of offering our community innovative, sustainable, progressive, and equitable farming methods. In coffee production, we offer training to the farmers in our community to enable them to gain their own experience, organically improve the quality of their product, and thus ensure the monetary value of their product and the sustainability of their process. Furthermore, we prioritize and work with socially disadvantaged individuals. We offer work to young adults to enable them to establish their independence in their home region without having to resort to the city for financial reasons. We prioritize supporting women in our community so that they can achieve economic independence without having to be married. Over the years, the economic development of our company has allowed us to create a sense of unity in the community that involves a great deal of support, mutual aid, solidarity, and other activities such as collective and solidarity work for the benefit of the community. The unity of our community improves its economy and collective well-being. This year, Katalina Robalino, co-founder of the company Café Latitude Zéro, was elected president of the community. We continue to work for a collective unity that becomes stronger economically and stronger against environmental destruction for the good of all.
